Érase una vez... pero ya no

Woke version of Galavant meets Once Upon a Time....in a Spanish-speaking region First episode is good, however the middle part (ep 3& 4) are really dull, the musical parts that's in a different place/scenes actually brought down the show not adding to it, weak choreography with classic/well-known songs Too many characters and too many back and forth and the musicals in 30 minutes episodes, my head is spinning. The best part is the CGI dragon and Diego's silly tops that show off his body The show needs to choose if it wants to be Galavant or Once Upon a Time but not both, I guess the budget didn't allow that. The castle looks small and claustrophobic.

... they can't be very bright. It's very easy to follow, it's just telling two stories at once. I found it really good fun that doesn't take itself too seriously.

It definitely seems like one of those shows that just adds nudity to get people to watch, because honestly this is just a bad show. Makes no sense, it's honestly boring, the singing parts are cringe and just bad.

The visuals of the series are really a delight to watch. It is very colorful and the animation wasn't bad and it added a nice touch so just for the visuals I had to give a high score The story was kind of weird thought and a lot of times I was confused if it is a childish series for kids or a series for adults I had to skip a lot to make it through but all in all it wasn't too bad Just weird and a little too dramatic and characters went back and forth a lot which became really confusing like do you love the other person or not?

But I'm not used to Spanish TV so maybe I just don't understand the way a spanish series is supposed to be...

I watched much of it with either a smile on my face or my mouth agape. A fantastic fairytale told in a true Latin fashion. Hyper saturated colors and romantically staged settings. Greed, infidelity, Spanish operatic musical numbers, lots of nudes, sex and a blue dragon told with a healthy dollop of absurdity. What's not to like?
