Fatherhood and complexities

We have seen heartbroken fathers onscreen, revengeful fathers avenging their children onscreen, often we see portrayal of the grief of mothers and the eternal connection between children and mothers. But here's a movie which portrays a heartbroken, helpless, revengeful at the same time remorseful father. Fatherhood also needs to be talked about. Thank you for that. Layered and complex characters, heartfelt moments, a heart wrenching yet heart warming end. The script becomes predictable in its course eventually yet keeps up the intrigue. Performances are noteworthy.

Is it the acting or the screenplay?

Difficult to single it out, but worth a watch.

Suraaj or Tovino, and Aishwarya too - play out their roles beautiful in this touching family drama. There is an element of mystery, just barely tho', 'cause that was an easy guess.

Decent one - 7/10

This is a decent movie with unique story.

First half of this movie has its own mystery elements and second half is more of human emotions.

Suraj's acting was of different level. Not a fan of Tovino's acting, but this movie he really improved. Aiswarya Lekshmi was good.

This is not a 10/10 movie, but it's a decent one to watch.

Excellent making

The movie has an amazing story line and casting was very well hand picked. The concept, the making and the music... everything was on the proportion. Heart smiled and mind blown!

Raw human emotions pirated well but feels bad as the content is diverted for various reasons

Must watch for family

Felt same numbness as like after watching Game of thrones.

Director Manu Ashokan wished to have certain equipment for the shoot but it looked impractical as most of it had to be rented from out of the state which meant the technicians had to travel and be in quarantine before 14 days of the shoot. He was afraid this would affect the cost of production and decided to drop his plan. But the producer T.R. Shamsudheen saw to it that the equipment and technicians that the director wished for were available throughout the shoot.
