The Garden

I was snooping around on YouTube when I remembered hearing about this cartoon some time ago. I came across an episode and a couple skits, and I decided "Eh, what the heck." and watched them. I was initially expecting something incredibly obnoxious and in your face with its preachiness; while it is predictably preachy and can get pretty sappy, it's a surprisingly okay cartoon, it's not a particularly great cartoon like Craig of the Creek or Garfield and Friends mind you, but it also isn't an atrocious cartoon like I was initially expecting it to be. It had some chuckle-worthy moments and decent morals.

My kids love this show. It's cute, and fun to watch! I love the songs and it's also entertaining enough that I'm not bored watching it with them. It's also nostalgic for me, the animation reminds me of the Powerpuff girls, or Fairly Odd Parents. Brightly coloured and moves at a good clip. I like how the episodes are such a short length too, it's good to put on when the kids want to watch something but don't want them in front of the TV for too long.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, its thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. Has positive messages too.

The voice actors do a great job too, Lucy voice is adorable, and I love Captain Snappy.

My kids love this show and I trust it more than a lot of other kids shows! It has a good message, sharing bible verses and teaching morals. God is the rainbow, guiding Lucy and Lenny to do what is right. It makes it easy for children to understand and catches the eyes of toddlers! It's my go to on Saturday mornings!
