Great film!

Great movie for what is a promising career for Nicoletti & co.

Worth a Watch

All things considered, I thought this was a film that had some good ideas, and the final product came out as a worthwhile project. Obviously, there are things about it which reflect its (lack of) budget and experience behind it, but its still admirable, and if you like a crime film à la Tarantino or some of the Soderbergh pictures like Out of Sight, its not a bad way to spend 50 minutes at all.

The Middle Men

The Middle Men takes the viewer on a trip through what can only be described as shock and confusion as two teenagers enter the world of adulthood. and things aren't exactly as they seem. The acting is very good and the music and action keep the viewer engaged. The production is excellent for a zero budget movie. Would love to see what this team could do with a little money and perhaps bringing a historical story to the big screen. All the best! See you at future movies!

Very Enjoyable Flick

The dedication and work ethic for this first offering from Jack Nicoletti and Samuel Castellino shines through in this clever, well created film. Good plot and actors with excellent results on a shoe string budget. I especially appreciated the humorous moments that were so naturally woven into the story. I think there is a very natural talent for that sort of scripting from these young writers.

The film was completed with a budget of $0, with the cast and crew relying on whatever they already had to complete the film. The only two things purchased for the film were Simmons' knit cap and La Cabra's mask.

Crazy Credits
The film opens with a distressed VHS bumper that reads "Thank you for renting from Valenta Video! Enjoy the film!" After the end credits and production company logo, you can faintly hear the sound of a VHS tape being ejected.
