the cigarette case

A simple war story. A German aviator wakes up in forest. His leg is wonded by a branch, his cigarette case offers some comfort, he believes - hopes be safe.

But, a gun fire, the confussion of pilot, a bullet. And the enemy.

Two basic virtues:

first, the realism odf story, reflecting in fair way the grief, the thought to home, the minutes of comfort. But, especialy, the fear under fire and looking for hidding , confuse situation, obscure enemy.
