Get the Girl

There are so many action movies, it's hard to get surprised by the plots anymore, but Get The Girl stands out. Without giving anything away, the leads are charismatic, funny, and poignant, the villains are played to PERFECTION, and the action sequences are not only quite impressive, they have a fresh mix of humor and skill. The script delivers many clever moments that stay with you with a supporting cast that looks like they're having just as much fun as I did watching it. If you enjoy movies like "Transporter", "Bullet Train", "The Losers", and "The Equalizer", make sure to check out this film. Oh, the soundtrack is FIRE!!!!

The lead guy was such a natural. He really made me laugh out loud. Sure, it's an independent film with a smaller budget, but the writing and smooth, chivalry and effortless delivery made me really enjoy the experience. He's a ballsy hero with a heart of gold and a sense of humor. There were funny bits with a whole lot of ass kicking too, so I was rather impressed and pleased.

Oh ya, the bad guy was such a douchebag, but he was also hilarious! I love how they shot him and I loved to hate him.

The ladies did a great job too. I was rooting for them, loved and hated, or was annoyed by them depending on the character, of course.

A lot of time work and effort went into this movie from this first time writer director Chris Jai Alex.

Has been great to see the script take shape and be developed into a full length feature film and now available to see on the big screen. Well done. Look forward to seeing more from this director.

Me being an Australian actress I really think it was different seeing how an American brilliant mine worked LOL I'm kind of making fun of my friend, but in all honesty, it was much better than I had anticipated, and I'm really just excited to see how he grows as a filmmaker, CJ, you'd better put me in your next Film :)

It's a great watch seriously in my unbiased opinion, it's entertaining and you should give it a shot

Without giving too much away, there's definitely a ? Next to be on the screen chemistry you'll know what I mean when that part happens, but it's hilarious and I think it paid off.

It amazes me that all the cast really pulled together to get a lot done and you can see everyone really wanted to be there. I don't know how they got to this quality of Film because I've seen share of Indies but they really put love into this Film . I'm so so proud and I'm singing praises all the way from Australia for my friend Chris Jai . Congratulations to the cast.

I had fun watching the film The story started a bit slow but when it picked up, I couldn't stop watching

Bash is a very likable character although he kills people, that's not easy to do. I think Chris Jai Alex did a great job with that.

I really think they did a good job and even though it's an Indy movie you can tell they really had fun making this film

I think the brown haired lady who played Kali was amazing I looked around to see if she's in any other movies but I think this was her first Hollywood film and she did a great job

The villain was also very very good. I think she's Swedish, but her American accent was flawless She did a great job

I know to do an action film is difficult and the big fight at the end between Ray and Silk was very great and so interesting. It reminded me of The bathroom scene in True Romance

My only suggestion would be to turn down the music in a couple of places, English is not my first language, so I had trouble following in one or two cents but it didn't make me not enjoy the film, just a very slight adjustment. Otherwise I would've given this Film perfect score.

Looking forward to seeing what Chris Jai Alex does next.

Great films!

When I found out that writer/director/actor Chris Jai Alex made this film out of his own pocket I was blown away! The quality of the content, the performances and the blistering action is something you would see only from big budget studio movies.

Chris as the lead character, "Bash," was at once engaging, endearing and baddass! Sean Patrick Flanery was a boatload fun as "Mr. Fun." You can tell he was having a blast as the film's "big bad!"

But Sofie Norman as the psychotic henchwoman. "Benadette" comes close to stealing the show with her unhinged performance. She was truly terrifying!

All in all "Get the Girl" was a blast from start to finish! I can't wait to see what's next from Chris Jai Alex!
