If Music Be the Food of Love

Frank and Lu are in to investigate strange goings on at a dance School, members of the owning tontine begin to die, rumours of course surround the school.

I didn't care for the first episode of this series, I did however really enjoy this one, it was plain old fashioned fun, a light hearted, easy to watch whodunnit.

You were probably waiting, as I was for Benton to show some moves, who will ever forget his time on Strictly.

Patrick Walshe McBride was great as Sebastian, the guy is drowning in charisma, he clearly had fun doing this one.

The best element, Danny John Jules, he was the standout here I thought, I don't half miss him on Death in Paradise, his performance here was a million miles away from Dwayne, such a natural, talented actor, so so good.

Camp, over the top, a little silly, I loved every minute, 8/10.

It could be murder on the dancefloor.

A dance studio was formed under a tontine by its founders. Now several of them have died suddenly through a mishap. Two in a car crash and one by a heart attack.

Beattie Delamar (Ruthie Henshall) on of the surviving co-owners believes there is a curse and consults Frank and Lu.

Frank laughs at the curse but Sebastian goes undercover as a dance student to investigate. Soon another person is found bashed on the head.

DS Keeler arrests Ben Lovedon (Danny John-Jules) a dancer who retired due to epilepsy. His cottage contained what could had been a snow globe used as a murder weapon.

A mystery that is light on its feet and sashay's nicely. Even Keeler does a dance move.

Henshall a musical theatre legend is of course wonderful and she gets to do a dance with Danny John-Jules.

Mark Benton who did Strictly Come Dancing was bound to bust a move by the end.
