Store Lars

Idk I normally love a lot of the actors, but this is kinda mixing real life with a written script. It's not really acting and then again it is, but you know it's like they take a lot of 'normal' actors and put them in a show with their normal names and spice them up a bit. Lars should go back to something like Live from Bremen or santa in the christmas calenders, not something in between!

I'm not impressed, it seems to me like the show is pretty much inspired on the danish sitcom Klown by Frank Hvam and Casper Christiensen. The two shows are very similar: In "Big Lars" Lars Hjorthøj's character is inspired on Frank Hvam's character and Martin Brygmanns character is inspired on Casper Christiensens character.

The same way with their girlfriends, Lars's girlfriend reminds me of Mia Lyhne (Franks girlfriend in "Klown") and the same story again with Martin's girlfriend who plays this successful actress (just like Casper's girlfriend Iben is in Klown)

The show is pretty forgettable and has sometimes very bad storylines. The show is not great but it differently has its moments 3 out of 10 stars.

This Danish series seems both fun and funny. The danish actor mr. Hjortshøj is always good news and he has become a very mature comedy-actor. I think this series should be called "Big Lars" in the english theaters.

It seems like they just wanted to copy Frank Hvam's and Casper Christensen's show "klovn". It has the very same elements and sort of jokes, but it's just done worse and nearly not as funny.
