The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

Imagine taking an Xbox 360 game that failed in every way possible. Then give that same idea to a dev team with love and passion? What do you get? A wonderful, atmospheric fun as heck romp through a dilapidated New Orleans.

In my opinion, this game has no flaws.

The story; 10/10, The Gameplay; 9/10 (At some points it can be unreliable and buggy, but in most parts the combat is heavenly.) The Visuals; 11/10, some of the best I've ever seen, even if it might not have the best graphics. The atmosphere; Holy hell, easily a 10/10.

I can't begin to describe the feeling of playing this game without spoilers for the first time. The fact you get to craft how the protagonist is, makes it 10x better than it already was. Cold and driven, Empathetic and caring, or just a straight up psychopath. JB was probably my favorite character.

If anyone has a VR headset, and hasn't played this game yet. They're missing out. Plain and simple.

This game is very good (especially for the Quest platform).

Although this seems low I feel I'm pretty strict with games as this is one of (if not) my highest rated games for the Quest platform.

Good get for Quest that is enjoyable but replayability is average.

Voice acting is fine and I enjoy the fact that besides from graphics everything is the exact same as the PCVR version.

I personally love saints and sinners. I know this review is a bit late but I just wanted to state how good this game is for anyone who hasn't tried it yet.

Graphics 5/10 as it isn't meant to look realistic. Love the fact that it's like the original comics.

World 6.5/10 It's a semi open world map that is creative (most of the times) and has as many books and crannies as you could want. If you like scavenging this is the game for you.

Combat 8/10 difficult and can be janky at times but that's the fun. Stamina is a pro and a con as it's more realistic but annoying if their are loads of enemies coming at once.

Story 7/10 simple but sweet . Not the most lovable story but it doesn't leave your head scratching like some other games.

Overall 9/10 I know it doesn't add up but this game holds a special place in my heart as my first vr game. Recommend to people who love a bit of a scary and challenging game where scavenging is key to get good things. Thanks for reading. Game on !!
