I don't usually watch movies that are less than a 6 here on IMDB, but I'm a sucker for movies with talking animals. I completely understand why it has (as of Oct '24) a 5.6 rating - I believe that's more about the genre than the story or execution.
Of course the genre is silly, but at least one knows what to expect. And this movie provides exactly what I thought it would. The story is compelling enough and the CGI isn't too creepy.
I laughed through the whole thing and cried at the sad bits. It's great for a family movie. Basically, if talking animals bug you, then don't watch it. But if you don't mind them, you'll enjoy it well enough.

Silly, laugh-out-loud entertainment, with talking animals and Lee Seung-min.
Storyline interesting. It seems easy, but not easy. It is clearly appropriate to the story that paved the way into a comedy. Sometimes too much when the mood. I like Major character of This story. Because it shows that pets are not cute to everyone. (But some animals to me are very cute.) The lighting and cameras look pretty good. It looks very natural. In the story, there are some weird CGI that make it a little frustrating. But still enough to pretend not to care. (I like slow motion because it so funny lol) The overall story I like it but I think it could be done more.
When I sat down to watch the 2020 South Korean action comedy "Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP" (aka "Mr. Zoo: The Missing VIP"), I had actually never heard about it. I happened to have the opportunity to sit down and watch it, and with it being an Asian movie that I had not already seen, of course I found the time to do so.
Writer and director Tae-Yun Kim put together a script and storyline for the movie that was a mixture of "Dr. Dolittle" mixed with an agent movie, and it was actually a combination that proved to be rather enjoyable and entertaining. There was a good amount of laughs and comedy throughout the course of the movie, and the mixture of serious elements to the storyline worked out quite nicely.
"Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP" is a movie that appeals to viewers of all ages, because there literally is something in this movie for all ages to enjoy. And that was a great testimony to the writing and directing skills of Tae-Yun Kim.
The acting performances in "Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP", and leading actor Lee Sung-min (playing Joo Tae-Joo) carried the movie quite well with his performance. I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but they put on good performances in bringing the movie and the characters to life on the screen.
Visually then "Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP" was adequate. The CGI effects were not spot on perfect, but they served their purposes and that added nicely to the overall enjoyment of the movie.
I was genuinely entertained throughout the course of the 114 minutes that the movie ran for. And if you enjoy Asian action comedies, then you should definitely check out "Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP" from writer and director Tae-Yun Kim.
My rating of "Miseuteo Ju: Sarajin VIP" lands on a six out of ten stars.
