Several years ago, the emperor secretly ordered the hero Li Hui to form a mountain stronghold consisting of bandits in order to keep the pugilist world under control. His daughter, Li Jin Rong, leads the stronghold after Li Hui's death and gives birth to Zhou Fei after marrying scholar Zhou Yi Tang. Zhou Fei's attempts at escaping have always ended in failure, though Li Jin Rong allows her daughter to go and experience the world outside after her 16th birthday. She meets Xie Yun again after he saves her from drowning during her first escape attempt, and they embark on an adventurous journey through Wulin together.

Classic Wuxia with strong female protagonist

Watch it for the strong female characters, fantastic chemistry between the leads , sparkling romance and a good plot. It has a strong start though it takes time to settle before the world building is complete. A must watch for whump lovers

Uptempo, solid storyline, great acting

Legend of Fei keeps you entertained and the storyline is so in line with the original book. Everything is in the serie and even better and more beautiful portrayed by the actors. Great show!

I like martial arts!

I enjoyed watching martial arts movies and series. This drama contains a lot of martial arts action scenes. People said it's a bit different from the original book, but I didn't read the original book, to me this show is perfect for if you just want to enjoy a story on the side with no hard brain work.
