RIS Cientifica is an action-filled series about tough cops who face off nasty delinquents and heinous killers by means of scientific investigations . This show follows the activities of the detectives working at the RIS Cientifica Department , a section assigned to Crime Scene Investigations bureau . RIS officers use the best scientific and technical methods to solve puzzles and catch criminals . It stars various Police Inpectors of a special unit against crime that take down cerebral murderers , scum and low-life criminals , these are the followings : Led by hard-nosed officer Ricardo Ventura (Jose Coronado) , and supported by a young newcomer Ana Galeano (Irene Montalà) , the forensic doctor Claudia Barea (Belén López) and other brave cops as Martín Orce (Carlos Leal) , David Conde (Ismael Martínez) and Damián Bermejo (Pedro Casablanc).
