The cast portray lovably quirky characters with personal flaws which make them endearing and lifelike. Costuming is authentic and not over done.
The inclusion of old technology such as a cassette tape player, phone box, hamburger phone, and dial telephone add moments of sublte humour and create a sense of authenticity. The scene with the dial telephone is particularly amusing.
Very well done.
The plot juxtaposes the present with the 80s, and as a teenager of the 80s, with the nostalgic dress, hairstyle, and retro props (like the old dial phone and cassette tapes) it really brought up fond memories of what seemed like a much fun simpler and time.
Really enjoyed the cinematography, and the plot had twists and turns that kept you guessing all the way. All the characters were well suited to their roles, and made you believe they were really cast back in time.
Great fun movie, and suitable for all ages, and great soundtrack which also casts you back to the 80s era.
Stay tuned until the end for a final plot twist! Congratulations Lincoln Fenner on an excellent movie!
Wonderful story, pictures and artists. I just finished watching and absolutely loved it. Thanks for the great idea. The flashes from past to present is marvelously done. I found myself rooting for the leading characters. So creative ! It brought me back to the good old times and brought back great memories.
The story delivered with twists and turns, keeping you until the end. I loved the gorgeous Hampstead Heath and London scenes from the 80s, which were beautifully framed.

- WissenswertesAfter time travelling back to 1989, Jessica Richards (Anna Fraser) refers to going to a milkshake diner in Hampstead London called Tinseltown. Her father, then 17 and played by Jon Untersander, doesn't realise who she really is and has no idea what she is talking about. He refers to Tinseltown as "Tinsel-what!"
That's because whilst Jessica grew up in the 2010's and even went to the diner for her 11th birthday, the Tinseltown diner in Hampstead only opened in 2005 explaining why it wasn't known to her father back in 1989.

Sean Richards: It's like I was waking into a dream. But someone else's dream, where none of it's real, none of it's yours. Just a feeling of being so lost that no amount of waking will change it. I could remember nothing else before that point.
