Veneno

I'm a big fan of Spanish media and this show knocked it out of the park. The writers did a great job of honoring the life a of a truly important woman in LGBTQ history. Very creative storytelling, that at times was a little too campy (hence the 9 and not 10) but very entertaining. The series had so many moments that are just so human and any person can probably relate to. Christina had such a difficult life but she didn't see it that way, she thought it was beautiful and again the makers of this show did such a great job of capturing that.

A masterpiece and a beautiful gift to La Veneno and all her fans. Also very important, you don't have to previously know who she is to be delighted by the story, just as I didn't. Hope it reaches the world.

This show is an undeniable masterpiece. From the music scores to the locations the acting, the script the actual story, the cinematography, the soundtrack and the performances it's an A + all the way! There is an incredible balance in the show with its humor, it's drama, it's sensibility, it's emotion, it's rawness and it's realness that makes it incredibly unique. I guarantee you will never see anything like it, in the end though what stands out about this incredible story it's its inspiration of the human spirit. Oh... Have some tissues ready because you will cry. Then laugh, then cry some more.

I watched this show based on the glowing reviews here. I was skeptical-especially since the first episode is a little slow at first-but WOW. By the end of the first hour I was completely hooked and stayed that way through the whole series. This is a fantastic show and I highly, highly recommend it.

Veneno is a fabulous and inspiring, touching, excellent Masterpiece! Incidental music caresses the soul, photography that makes you travel wonderfully through the time, a phenomenal performance, a script, and a production that has taken care of even the smallest detail.

It makes you think: How many "Joselito's"(humans with deep hurts in the heart and soul)walking around this world? A masterpiece that Revealing scars left by a society with double moral that remains the same in the middle of 2020, some progress we made that only solves the surface of the reality.

Not only seeing the side of the LGBT+ community but of everything that DOES NOT LET YOU BE YOURSELF.
