My Alien Girlfriend

I enjoyed this low-budget flick. The acting was not that good, but it had a nice story line. And the reality is that it was fun to watch. Nicely done.

Simple story about a Star Wars Fanboy you on the eve of his wedding meets an alien and has to get her home. The acting is average at best , the plot is simple, but some of the dialogue is okay. Can think of far worse ways of spending 70 minutes.

As a fanboy from way back myself, I could identify with the main character, who suddenly found himself living every man's wildest dream - meeting a real-life alien. That the alien happened to be drop-dead gorgeous was naturally a bonus!

This movie is full of believable, if typical, characters. There are few surprises here. However, they do have a fun time and certain individuals do get their comeuppance in the end. If you're looking for something new, you're looking in the wrong place. However, if you're looking for a fun, short flick with a sci-fi air that you can much popcorn with, then look no further!

This could have a heck of a lot worse and much, much better too. Everything about it screams that the whole things needs tightening. Script, acting, casting, plotting, everything. This could have a really good movie but it just misses the mark slightly in every respect. Cries out to be remade in some form with a little more of everything thrown in.

But I liked it.
