Wow! Hitchcock would be proud!

This is a beautiful film full of great cinematic storytelling plus a classic re-hash of the Bernard Herman's Vertigo Score. Being a Hitchcock fan, I can honestly say that this is a true HITCHCOCKIAN film - which we hear a lot but hardly ever see. You can tell the film was made with so much attention to detail and passion by the great cinematography, transitions, acting, pace, acting and editing - and everything works together to achieve a great visual art piece. But don't get me wrong, it is also super exciting and entertaining as the film keeps you guessing from beginning to end. It is full of intrigue and suspense - and it is haunting. I highly recommend THE MAN IN THE SILO and I can almost guarantee you haven't seen anything like it!

It keeps you guessing...

Great production value, especially in regard to its cinematic look, acting, lighting and some creative editing. Good performance by Mr. Hudson. I enjoyed this suspense mystery that keeps you guessing all the way to its end.

Compelling Performance

While an entirely compelling performance by Mr Hudson as a man dealing with regret and grief - the movie literally goes no where. Part of the failure was on me actually expecting there to be a man in the silo perhaps killed by the Hudson character (I typically watch horror). Instead it was a repetition of his guilt and circumstances and by the short ending I was like 'oh'

Ernie Hudson is so good!

Ernie Hudson is so good, why he didn't continue in the big leagues is unfathomable to me and this performance proves my point. The Filmmakers hit the jackpot with this casting because he brings such gravitas to the role. From the first surreal changes in time and space I was hooked. Such an inventive tone and narrative structure, this indie film is really worth the time.

Dream-like vision!

Clearly the forces behind this richly layered dream-like vision have a deep sense of story evolution and film history. It is not for everyone, but if you come to it with a willingness to participate, you will be rewarded with a film that leaves you with the feeling of having experienced something very, very special in a world otherwise dominated by superheros and amplitude. Fans of Bernard Herrmann scores, Darren Aronovsky, Lynch, and Adrian Lyne films will find themselves at home in this film, not to forget the intensely compelling performance of Ernie Hudson.
