Never seen a documentary of Sophia I was fascinated in how she started her career. This documentary gives you that but very much from an Italian viewpoint. Poorly written script by Roberto Olla the telling of her life behind the camera jumps around chronologically. No footage of her Hollywood films and only passing comment of her male leads. Hefty contribution from Omar Sharif strangely. I'm sure there is a documentary out there which gives a more rounded picture that this effort.

Maybe that's why it felt like a mess with no beginning and no end. We are missing half an hour footage. F... Netflix.

It was in my list since years and I watched. It was short and It looks it is for birthday but what can I say? She is a legend, symbol of many things and real treasure for cinema. I had no idea about her life, I hope I can find another documentary with lots of details and I can watch. This is good one but actually looks like footages from movies and other tv shows. Her style is so unique and this is not about being actress, if you have a potential or power or starlight , yo don't need anything else. Sophia Loren is hundred percent like that. She is an icon and legend. She is immortal. I highly recommend to watch. It is really short and sweet.
