Oldie but a goodie

If you love classic Hollywood and would like a 101 crash course with a touch of 60s Hollywood production, this film is for you. It's a nice overview of the world of Hollywood during its golden era. From the silent days, to the "talkies", the way in which film changed so drastically is highlighted in this film. It's full of classic clips and gives a brief overview of the studio system and the Hayes code. It even pokes fun at its self, which I found to be refreshing. Watching this film (1962) in 2023, is fascinating as we are twice as far from this film, as this film is to its subject. We are in need of an update!
