Excelent! The documentary has successfully demonstrated how Jair Bolsonaro Governament has been a complete disaster, threatening democratic rules in Brazil, laws, Human Rights and even the sanity of Brazilian People. With misinformation and allegations that are not supported by facts, he tried to hide the disaster that his administration has brought to Brazil in all areas, including the environment. To top it all off, he disrespected Brazilians who still suffer from the over 700,000 deaths caused by Covid's mismanagement of the pandemic by defending the use of treatments that have been proven to be ineffective.
Nevertheless is now Done! From 2023 on, Brazil will be a democratic country again, with the election of Lula! Thank God!

The narrative aim promote deception about the real history of Brazil's people, the public institutions like the Army and others, in their struggle that have the base of power the Magna Law, against criminal organizations. Specificly like political gang that PT party had infused in critical structures and another corrupt institutions and enterprises in all public and private administration. It's a distopic vision about the reality and certainly have the main target destroy the good view about the administration implement over all country since 2019. It's untruth because the most rigid law in the world of control over forests are Brazilian law.
While the documentary does not lie about Bolsonaro and his sons, it feature people like David Miranda who still peddles the Lula myth. It is not objective to demonise Bolsonaro while skipping the scale of corruption by Lula. Very one sidded especially a month before elections in Brazil. Lula was not found innocent, he was released on a technicality.
The BBC should not be putting out content like this without it being balanced. If they were British politicians it would not be allowed so why different rules for other countries?
Also, you would believe looking at the film we live in clouds of smoke here in São Paulo. It happened once. In the UK you get sand from the Sahara and it's dark at 3.30 pm for months, be objective and report things fairly.
Also, Brazil has 64% forest coverage and the UK only 13% . Easy to pick holes with another country and blame them for the ozone hole, but it is a world wide failure, not just Brazil.

The world seems plagued by many terrible leaders, who not only follow policies one may personally dislike (which is almost inevitable in a big world), but who policies are inextricably linked with the way they go about getting and holding the power to implement them: an approach that involves demonizing your enemies and ripping up societal norms. These norms play a critical role in enabling at least some of us to live in relative peace and prosperity; but some would destroy them for the hell of it. Among the worst of such leaders in Brazil's Bolsonaro (although Donald Trump is another), a man whose very uncouthness appeals to followers whose foundational belief appears to be "you're not the boss of me". This documentary is full of moments that would seem jaw-droppingly awful to the unfamilliar; but sadly, you'd have to be unfamilliar not just with Brazilian politics, but those of many other countries as well. I hope we get through this moment; but it's hard to see what will save us when there are many so disatisfied with business-as-usual that they now advocate to "burn it all down", both metaphorically and (in the case of the Amazon rainforest) literally.
