Di-Gata Defenders

I watched this show in my childhood but never finished. Now that I finished it I can say this is criminally underrated and unknown. The 1st season is just great, the 2nd season is boring at the start but gets really good about half. I would watch the 2nd because it explains a lot of things of the past. This series as someone else said, is like a fever dream. There's action and funny moments. But what surprises is the amount of plot twists. At one point you can't tell who's the real evil or good character, it's innumerable. Not a fan of the character disappear now and re appears after 10 episodes, kinda confuses the plot. A shame that it's so unknown.

Although well done, this cartoon is full of cliches and repeats the stereotype of the group of teenagers called to save the world.

The characters are not bad but they do not deviate, neither the good ones nor the bad ones, from the stereotypes.

So there is the brute, the mad scientist, the warlord and the son in search of redemption and the same reasoning applies to the good ones with the chosen one, the healing girl, the boy with a bad temper, the lively girl and the kind big brother.

Although there is nothing very original it manages to be pleasant even if some episodes were boring like death.

Di gata defenders is a unique anime. The adventure is interesting, power and fighting technic is awesome, The plot is very very good and its mixed with attractive voice and music feel like it made only for me. Every characters bonding, relations and dependency is splendid. The super power of this anime character doesnt depend on emotion but logic. If i could I would give it more than 10 rating so i'm also giving a review to this all time underrated anime so more people will know. Hope you will enjoy it same as me. Thank you, Ehsan auntor
