Hall Monitor/Jellyfish Jam

I have been a big SpongeBob fan for a long time and Hall Monitor has always been my favorite episode of the entire show. I know most people would say it's Band Geeks or Chocolate with Nuts or The Camping Episode, but I think this episode is the best. It has a really funny plot with hilarious jokes that make the episode work. This is my favorite episode, and it's amazing.

Jellyfish Jam is also an amazing episode. Although there isn't much dialogue, the dance parts are great and there's good visual humor.

Overall this is an amazing episode pair of SpongeBob

I know that "Jellyfish Jam" is really loved by fans for its music and I do love this music myself, but sadly the episode is a bit... boring? I mean, nothing really happens for most of the story. Instead it has some visually and sonically remarkable parts. It's cool to watch on YouTube separately, but in the episode itself it feels like a way to fill the 11 minute episode with content. But the episode is still fine, Bob and Squid's interaction is hilarious as always and the story has some... moral.

"Hall Monitor" isn't my favourite episode as well. It has many funny gags, I really loved how cops laughed at Patrick, I love how Bob and Patrick bought some ice cream twice in a row and etc. Basically, it's Patrick who carries the episode (surprisingly), but SpongeBob is a bit annoying. Also that's the first time Mrs Puff goes to jail and I think this was really exploited by future seasons too much. For me the episode itself feels a bit too forced, but it really atones for it with some awesome gags. It truly is classics.

Hall Monitor Review: This episode is simply great. I love how chaotic SpongeBob is in the city of Bikini Bottom and I simply can't choose a favorite part. The only bad thing about this episode is that it's very out of character for SpongeBob to just wreck the entire town. But otherwise, great episode I like it a lot. (9.5/10)

Jellyfish Jam Review: This is easily one of my favorite episodes in the ENTIRE SERIES! The music in this episode is fire like seriously the music in this episode is still stuck in my head. I love the part where SpongeBob is dancing with the jellyfish. The part with Squidward is also just AWESOME! I don't care what anyone says, I love this episode. (10/10)

One of these episodes was amazing, and the other was just good.

"Hall Monitor" SpongeBob is chosen to be hall monitor at boating school and sets out to catch the "maniac" running wild in Bikini Bottom. This episode is hilarious and very creative. The gag about Patrick's ice cream is the best. I also like during SpongeBob's speech when he repeatedly says "IN THE HALL!" 10/10

"Jellyfish Jam" This episode was kind of lame in parts, like when the jellyfish squirt jelly on Gary. But the rest of the episode is great, especially when Squidward is on. 8/10

Both episodes are highly entertaining, and far more random and surreal than most before it.

Hall monitor (9) Hall monitor is the absolute best that can be done with such a strange concept. Seeing Spongebob mess things up in the most outlandish ways possible using an otherwise mundane occurence is a blast and the dramatic irony employed in the episode's second half is hilarious. It's one of the season's strongest without a doubt.

Jellyfish jam (8) Jellyfish jam is a bit less funny, though that's an easy bar to fall under. The antics the jellyfish get up to are ridiculous yet highly enjoyable and the jokes come fast and hit hard, even if it loses its way by the ending.

These episodes are up there with the strongest in the season, making this one worth watching if you want to enjoy yourself immensely.
