From first seeing this third movie, I have been intensely disappointed at the replacement of January Jones. She was perfect as the older Missy, whose younger version was definitely not a Miss Goodie-Goodie. Jones matched the younger Missy's personality very well. Her replacement seems larger,not delicate, too smiley and forced perky and is not a good match for Willie. I liked the ranch hands much better than I did Missy. I haven't read the books. The first two movies made me interested in reading them. If I had seen just this one, I don't think I would have that interest. After reading some of the other viewer's comments, I want to read the books to see if they really are better than the movie plots. Little House is an American legend, but those who read Laura's books, know that Michael Landon took considerable dramatic license with his stories as the show progressed.

I really like this movie because it shows how God can do anything possible to help them to get through pregnancy and farming but I love the beautiful scenes of landscapes. Here the part which I love is Christmas story of Luke that Willie was reading to everyone including Missie. When I watched all of Love Come Softly series, I think that Michael Landon, Jr. was a good director because his father was in Little House on the Prarie so he followed in his father's footstep to create Janette Oke's books into movies. As I looked back on my life for a little bit and I realized that my faith in God is so good to me and how God gave me a gift - my deafness.

The budget is obviously small in this film but the message it sends out is huge. Very sweet and inspiring story of a young family held together by their faith. Makes you want to laugh and cry. Missy & Willie don't have as good as chemistry as the 2nd installment but they do make a very cute couple. I would like to try to keep him warm during the cold prairie winter. :) Also teaches children to be tolerant of other races and also that if you live a good life, good things will happen for you and your family. Make sure you watch the first 2 movies in the series before you watch this one. It probably won't make much sense if you have not see the others.

I love all of the movies in the Love Comes Softly series, but this was my favorite yet! Erin Cottrell and Logan Bartholomew do a great job as Missie and Willie, and there is a lot more action and excitement added to the romance of the first two in this series. God's protection along the way in the LaHaye's family's new life is very evident, and the same heart for others that Missie had in Love's Enduring Promise is clearly seen in this movie. I also loved the sweet friendship between Missie and Miriam, and their willingness and eagerness to help each other out in whatever way they can. Well worth seeing, I can't wait for number 4! Great, clean family movie for all!!!

The third one in the Hallmark's 'Love Comes Softly' movie series that followed after 'Love Enduring Promise'. Like the usual the story and the characters continued, but the cast changed. Because most of the characters became adult now. This time the narration followed the Missie Davis turning to Missie LaHaye. Of course now Missie is almost a different woman by appearance as she's all grown up.

This film focused only her and her surrounded ones. Still, she's passionate about reading and teaching, but the things are going to change when she meets a little boy in an unexpected circumstance. In the other side, the neighbours dragged into the narration to make a perfect American film, because they are not the ordinary neighbours.

The story was based upon a couple of things, like making the dream comes true and facing thieves in the backdrop of celebration of the Christmas and expecting their first child. In a new place, the newly married LaHaye couples set to begin their life. As Willie's dream coming true, to own a ranch and his wife Missie is pregnant, they comfortably settle down with a bunch of fine men who were hired to work with them. The threats are always a surprise, with one knocking their door, how this couple going to face it and the conclusion of the story is the remaining portion.

Sharing the life by helping each other, love was the main theme like the whole movie series supposed to be. The success won't be reached without a struggle, so those were well blended in the beautiful story. It was like effortless performances by everyone, other than riding horses. But anyway, making a movie, even that for the television, is not that simple. The quality was maintained, but there are some minor flaws and technical errors, that are not distracting ones.

Beside their new beginning, the festival season brings the employee and employer much closer. Followed by the most anticipated moment of their lives where the story concludes. Not like the big screen movie, as a television flick and being a second sequel, the movie really justifies. As usual the slow narration was the key to be a satisfactory product. I liked this part as well and so now the fourth film, let's wait and see where it takes us to
