Very under-rated video game

For a video game this was one of the best, if not the best, story I have ever played through.

I am basing this score solely on the story of the game. The visuals during the cut scenes are nice for a PS2 game. Not only that, but the cut scenes themselves are quite intense and possibly horrific, especially later on in the game. Just watching some of the scenes sends chills down my spine.

This game has a powerful storyline and great character development on a small scale, while still getting the message across. As the game doesn't have much replay value, it is still a fun play through of the campaign, especially with the aid of limb detaching effects.

Truly one of my favorites.

Great Game but could of been a little longer.

A very good first person shooter and decent replay value!!! Definitely pick it up if you haven't played it you could probably get it for $3.99 now. It was around $6.99 or $9.99 a few years ago now it's $3.99 if you can find it at used. I still play it once in a while and the graphics are decent as well and smart AI. If it was longer and did you know it was supposed to be the sequel to Goldeneye. A great game and a decent length. I had to get a few copies I'm on my 3rd copy. Terribly underrated game, wish there was a sequel but it probably didn't sell to well.

Oh well, Just my 2 cents.

A Xbox version was also planned, but eventually cancelled in favor of making this game PS2-exclusive.

Alternative Versionen
As the uncensored version was banned in Germany due to the country's strict laws regarding video game violence, a heavily censored version was made for release in Germany. Changes include complete removal of blood & gore, certain cutscenes having violence toned down, no longer possible to shoot civilians, and the intro being shortened by two minutes.
