Legacy of the Jedi

i started watching this and thought..."hmm, just another 3rd year film student's project, whom loves star wars a bit too much". well, meees be wrong! the short film, seen on ifilm.com (unconnected plug), was very enjoyable. sure it was only 8 minutes or so long. the special effects were actually good. mixing very earth like environments (read: very very earth-like) with believable special effects. this, making it look like it was actually off-world. the battle scenes were very well blocked. one sequence actually had a type of battle scene, that never seem to be fully explored in the original star wars saga. the actors are definitely capable in this regard. and let's not forget a very fun to watch ending. i really enjoyed it. so.. if it IS a 3rd year film project, well then i'd give it an A.
