The person who wrote the last comment totally missed the boat. You never made a point about why you did not like it. I could respect your comment if you had a true point. So disregard that comment everyone until you hear facts. Marc knows that I am a very critical person and if I say he pulled it off, along with everyone in the movie and on the set, then he did. Most indie films have room for improvement. Let's see you do it better. If you just so happen to be a fellow Detroit filmmaker I definitely challenge you to do better. My point is next time you hear of a feature film being shot in your town, work on the set and you will appreciate the hardship and dedication it takes to actually get a film this far.

I just rented this movie on DVD and I really enjoyed it. I'm from Detroit so I could be a little bias. However, I enjoyed seeing Detroit and the other suburbs photographed so beautifully. I found the explanation of how the Chaldeans, Arabs, and Muslems migrated to Detroit very informative. The cast was not only talented but very easy on the eyes.

The most interesting and comedic part of the DVD had to be in the special features section listening to the directors commentary. No offense, but it really seemed like Marc Cayce screwed over a lot of people to get this independent film made.

Oh yeah, one more thing.....The soundtrack for this film was off the chain! I would purchase it today if I could.

This movie highlights events that happen daily in the Detroit area that most people are unaware of or just go blinded-eyed to. It shows the things that blacks of today & in the past have had to deal with to just get along in this world.Its about Love,Hate and Misunderstandings,it also shows a positive side of Detroit that most of the world doesn't get the opportunity to see. These things REALLY happen,I have been a victim of it myself and have seen it happen to friends.If you know anything bout or want to know about life in the D check this movie and for your self, you won't be sorry. In the immortal words of Rodney King "Can We All Just Get Along?"

A wonderful love story between an African American/Christian girl and an Arabic Muslim man, and the racial division between the two different cultures.

This Movie deserves a high rating,it is truthful with good romance .

The Story Is Convincing & Believe Me The Film Is Worth Watching & Buying!.

Forbidden Fruits' Movie Deserves To Win Awards.

I watched this movie when it first came out but then I thought I'd lost the DVD, I just recently found it again and I have watched it at least twenty times since. I am a huge advocate of interracial dating and this movie just entices me to the max. I am not from Detroit, nor have I traveled there, but I would love to go one day and sight-see. I would definitely recommend this movie.

I love the end of the movie, because, me being a hopeless romantic, I feel like maybe I will have the same luck in an interracial relationship.

I just want to thank Marc Cayce for producing, writing and directing this film...it was just what I needed.
