The Rape of Ganymede

If you wanna make a parodying piece of work you need to actually know the subject you're attempting to parody.

This film while cute in its conception is absolutely unoriginal in terms of its "humor", on top of which it presents some quite glaring anachronisms (A newspaper called 'Roman Times' when telling the story of Ganymedes? Not right. More importantly: not funny to thus justify being there ) among other factual errors.

Yes, I know it's a cartoon and yes, the animation is very pretty indeed but if a film that's ten minutes long presents such a bad grasp of its own subject that it makes a busybody such as myself devote another 15 minutes to complaining about waisting the first ten, then it's quite bad indeed.
