Labyrinth

Very remindful of Monty Python animation. Maybe it's that the guy wears a bowler hat. It begins with him flying (with wings) over a big city. Eventually he lands and experiences a multitude of events. There are strange creatures everywhere and they either threaten him or obstruct him. At one point he uses a portion of fence to go after an alligatornwho has captured a woman. After saving her, she chooses to return to the alligator. This is first rate animation and totally attention grabbing.

Lovely for embroidery of references, from fairy tales and Alice in Wonderland to the sexual fantaisies and XIX century bowler hat men.

Provocative, imaginative, using not ordinary versions of familiar stories - the romance between lady and reptile reminds of of poetries by Radu Stanca- , defining the sensitivity of a time in which forms of frond were more often , suggesting forms of freedom- indeed, surogates.

A charming story, crowned but old theme of mad scientist and the tests of beginning of XX century who can solve all the misteries about humanbeen.
