Flammes

I can't interpret it very well. It is an experience. Like so many of this directors short pieces, we have a wasteland where the action takes place. This time, figures move across the screen from left to right. They are, if you will, trying to get to the other side. The strength of this animated feature is the drawings, the beauty of the shapes, the bizarre qualities portrayed here. One is crystalline. Another looks like a bridal outfit. But we have not resolution, only figures, going somewhere. The landscape seem a bit severe when it comes to how to navigate things. Is this experimental. This is one time the artist would need to speak..
