Remembering the late, great Dore O. - who sadly passed away earlier this year - on what would have been her 76th birthday.
This is my favorite work from the legend and i have no count of watching this short. Alaska seems to have a recurring theme of nostalgia and it captures this melancholic longing for a life that was once bright. As a result, this short has a darker and a much more ethereal tone in comparison to other films in Dore O's filmography.
