I was so deceived by this costume period French series. It was made in 1972. Yes, I expected much more, compared to what I have already seen in terms of French costume period TV shows: JACQUOU LE CROQUANT, JEAN CHALOSSE, BLANC BLEU ROUGE, FELICIEN GREVECHE. This story is so predictable, boring, very bad acted by unconvincing characters. Some good semi long take sequences though, in action scenes, seem very interesting and unpredictable for this period; early seventies. For the rest, it was a torture for me to go till the end. Maybe only the country side atmosphere for this eighteenth century atmosphere.
