Enjoyable movie, however if you are not a parent it will be fun to watch, you will not get a lot of what a parent wants for there child. The writing is good the acting a standing ovation. The directing is fine. Marjorie Post is excellent in this TV movie John is good. It seems that you could take him back to "Night Court", and it would be the same.

It was lovely to see John Larroquette and Markie Post together again. They are such a great team. Every parent knows the feeling when your child is making what you think of as a mistake. Do you interfere? Do you step back, bite your tongue and hope for the best? It's so hard to watch and wait when you want to help. However, at some point you have to let your child grow up. Even though it goes against everything inside you. It doesn't matter how old they are, that's still your baby. You want to protect them. Letting go is hardest part about having kids.

DON'T MISS IT! This movie was great... I am a huge Larroquette fan and I have to say he's never been better-- both funny and warm at the same time... The movie is a love letter to any Dad with a kid who wants the world for them. Like most Dad's, which I am, I sometimes lose sight of what's best for them is for me to stand by and watch them fall on their face or succeed without my interference-- this is generally what "Till Dad" is all about... when you strip away all the comedy. But it's a very funny film with a great supporting cast-- Markie Post, Jeffrey Jones, Emily Holmes and Adam Harrington are all stand out. Both the directing and writing are equally top drawer as is the camerawork and score. All involved deserve a big pat on the back for a job well done

Hats off to the entire cast! What a great story line that makes each of us parents realize that we aren't alone in how we feel and what we want for our kids. John Larroquette did an outstanding job as an overwhelmed executive, loving husband and over protective dad, the scene of him reliving his daughter's life through photographs certainly topped off this wonderful movie. It was a nice surprise to see John Larroquette and Markie Post together again, a great asset to each of their characters. A movie worth watching over and over.

and then some. I have never been a fan of his work, and this was DOWN to his usual standards. In other words, I thought this was an insult to my intelligence, and resented being asked to sit through it by my wife (a Larroquette fan). It was stupid, and all of the "gags" seemed forced.
