Rahman is the only son or Bharat Gopi who dotes on him. As he wants to study MBA despite not being happy Gopi allows his son to go to Bangalore alone to pursue his passion . Rahman is a brilliant student but lacks motherly affection. In Bangalore he is befriended by his family friend Soman and his loving wife Shubha and their daughter Rohini . Very soon Rahman and Rohini connect to each other as they are in the same college and fall in love . He is taken in by this whole some affectionate family .
Rahman often misses having a mother and keeps pouring his heart out to Soman . After some initial hesitation, Soman tells him that his mother is very much alive . Initially shocked Rahman goes with him to meet his mother.
He meets a demure Seema in a woman's home .
Her story comes out slowly . Bachelor Gopi was a rich and arrogant man . He is suspicious of the female race . He gets attracted to Seema who is from a low economic back ground . Very soon dutifully she gets down to her domestic life .
Sadly his freinds are no better and they mislead him in this issue . Slowly suspicion gets the better of him and he starts finding fault in everything she does .. everyone she meets.
Unable to bear this torture she leaves him and she is restrained to a woman's home now .
Rahman plays mediator and unites his parents .
Veterans Seema and Gopi need no introduction. Rahman in one of his early roles brings out the pathos of his lonely life . Rohini is cute while prancing around with him in a few duets.
Over all a fine movie .
