Dan Danger

Funny, hilarious series about a superhero that is really a "scaredy cat", a big chicken, who had to be talked into or manipulated into heroic acts by his little assistant Ruthie. The style of this show really reminded me of the old Rocky & Bullwinkle series, with all it's sometimes subtle little jokes you had to catch.

One of the episodes was about his Dan's brother, who all through school lived in the shadow of Dan, and knows Dan is really kind of a "fraud" as super heroes go, and what happens is action packed and funny funny funny.

As far as I know there were only about 3 or four episodes done, and then Butch Hartman turned his attention toward "Fairly Odd Parents" and other shows. I wish Butch had pushed this one through, it was really funny, and well animated and brilliantly voiced. I guess Butch had too many other projects that were more of a priority. If there were a chance to bring this back I hope he does.

The funniest series since Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dan Danger is about a big superhero who is a chicken at heart. The sight gags are great and jokes are many. Wish they had made it into a full blown series! If you are lucky enough to catch it on TV, you will agree.
