Probably trying to use the heritage of the Monty Pythons, this video era farcical comedy, is the comedy that initiated Greek filmography in surrealism. Believe, me the character of skatofatsa(who is literally stuck in a toilet bucket, and he only appears from the neck up), is the most surreal movie character ever created in Greek cult cinema. Furthermore the characters that add up to the almost non-existent plot are the extremely obese wife of Fonda, and his hilariously dumb assistant, who gets injured in a great variety of ways. In reality both of them (Fonda and the assistant) get into some hilariously weird situations, and some even stranger accidents, that end up being depicted in really surreal comic-styled visual effects....

Words fail me when I try to describe this masterpiece of Greek Video Art! This *is* the true heritage of Aristophanes, Menander, Souris and Veggos. Some of the scenes (especially some of the toilet ones) are classics both in the visual sense and in a social-commentary sense. No one can fully appreciate modern Greek thought, culture and of course politics without having seen this revolutionary Bunuelesque film.

Takis Vougiouklakis is definitely the most misunderstood creator in modern Greek art. Other users might call this trash, even though they love it. This just shows their subconsciousness at work. His camera work here reaches its zenith and his story-telling was never better.

Kostas Tsakonas is not just the personification of *Greek* (Anthony Quinn eat your heart out). He simply *is*. This is not just a "cogito ergo sum". This is a "can-be-seen/can-act ergo sum".

It's a pity this hard-to-get gem is so elusive to English/not-Greek speaking audiences. I'm not going to claim that the ability to see this is reason enough to learn Greek, but still you just *have* to pester that Greek friend of yours to obtain this for you and to help you understand it.

Kostas Tsakonas is the definition of Greek cult! A bad and ugly actor, starring in bad and ugly videos of the memorable video era. This one is maybe one of the worst and ugliest pictures a Greek can(not) find in a video store. And it is absolutely delicious! Not only because Tsakonas is hilarious just to look at, but also because the film tries so hard to be a comedy that it makes you laugh only by thinking of it! Filmed with a minimum budget, with no script whatsoever, it reminds of a farce made by school boys. That is way it is lovable: because it brings to mind that innocent time, when one could actually laugh with the mishaps of the plumper/hero. The time when one was about ten.

The reason why i voted a 10 for this movie is mostly sentimental and motivated by pleasant mood.I think that these Greek movies of the 80's are mainly crap(there are always exceptions).My friends ask how you can say that you like high-class films when you also watch these rubbish?Its simple....I passed my preteen and teen years during this period and the whole situation(composed by people's way of acting and how the cities look alike) reminds me these happy years.But that isn't enough for the film to gain the 10.It's simply Tsakonas face and his way of speaking and acting that makes you....cry from laughing!!!!!Is there anyone that have watched the movie in which Tsakonas is playing something like Count Dracula??That's a film that all can name as "cult"...He is unbelievable...!!
