Now, we have a dangerous(?) terrorist being transported on board a 747 when the usual mayhem ensues...plane suffers engine difficulties, terrorist and other prisoners escape, seize plan, kill pilot and cause structure damage to the cockpit, etc.
Anyway, an intrepid FBI agent who is also an ex-Navy SeAL, volunteers to board the plane in mid-air, take out the terrorist and his buddies and save the 747 and its passengers.
My suggestion, rent AIRPORT 75 and PASSENGER 57 and alternate every 15 minutes or so between the 2 movies and you'll get the idea behind this one!
It's the oldie but goodie plotline - bad guy transported on commercial airliner gets free of inept captors and takes entire plane hostage.
My, my, my. How I giggled! Everything from Michael Harris' sarcasm; James Russo's scarily eerie ability to seemingly go for long stretches of time without blinking; the hole in the cockpit; every stray bullet's attraction to the cockpit.... was it intentionally amusing? I think not. Is Ice-T's acting shocking? It is. Is the movie worth watching? Oh yes. :::snigger:::
A maniac murder is transported in this plane, sure he overthrow his guards and take over control of the plane. After a little shooting an explosion break a big hole in the cockpit. The First office isn´t able to land the plane, the pilot is dead.
You already know the plot of a plane with a hole in a cockpit?? Already saw a man, coming inside the plane through this hole?? Already know "Columbia Airlines", already saw the plane??? Yes, the story was ( better ) told rather 30 years ago, "Airport 75". Differences? It was Karen Black as stewardess, who was not able to land the Boeing 747, here it is an attractive female first officer! Here it is a maniac murder, who cause the hole, in "Airport 75" it was an accident with another plane. In "Airport 75" the acting was quite good, here it is horrible.
Also the outdoor scenes, when you see the airplane over snowy mountains... the jet, the helicopters. They are taken from the original "Airport 75" movie.
At least, if you would like to see a good airplane action movie, take one of the old "Airport", "Passenger 57" for example, but not this cheap crap here.
Ive seen Turbulence and Passenger 57 and none of them compare to this movie Agent Nick Halton (James Russo) a former navy seal Has been tracking the Phychotic Killer Jeremy Barrett (Michael Harris) for 3 years he finnally catches him and Barrett is then transported and handed over to the FBI But when Barrett gets on the plane he Hijacks it and is threatning to crash the plane into a populated area its up to Nick to finish Jeremy barrett once and for all Ice T did a good job with his role even though it was not even a 45 minute roll Brittany Daniel also did a good job with her roll this movie also has some comedy in it that really made me laugh especially Michael Harris's character this is definetly a movie to see

- WissenswertesIn this film, Sam Anderson plays the head of the FBI. On TV's "Picket Fences", he also played an FBI agent.
- PatzerAt the end of the movie, as the scene from inside the plane shows, passengers disembark from the left side of the plane while the outer scene shows the ladder from the right side.
