Der Bunker - Eine todsichere Falle

A cool action movie isn't very often a German one! But this time it is! If you wouldn't hear the language you wouldn't know that this isn't an American movie. Especially the music and the camera views are very un-typical for German movies. If you like the Michael Bay movie "The Rock" oder the action thriller "Die Hard" you should watch "Der Bunker - Eine todsichere Falle" if you can get this movie somewhere (only German, no subtitles, because it's JUST a TV production)!

'Der Bunker' is a typical German action film. Trying to make it look like Hollywood but looking like a German action movie. German productions don't have half of the money even the worst American production has, that means that all the effects are kind of cheap looking. The helicopter in the end looked extremely computer generated. My friend did a better job for a movie of his. The story also sucks. Trying to copy Die Hard but action and dialogues fit nearly every cliche. You always know what's coming. The baddies are killed one after another. A hostage turns out to be really the leader of the terrorists, etc. But I think this movie means a improvement in German filmmaking. Hans Horn tried to make a cool action movie. And at least it shows that someone out of the USA tries to make good entertainment.

In my opinion, this is the best action movie ever made in Germany. It is about a Russian terrorist-team, which overtakes a Natobunker with nuclear missiles in it somewhere in Germany. The film could have been produced by famous Jerry Bruckheimer ("The Rock" "Con Air" "Enemy of the state" ect). It's his style, absolutely ! Nonstop Action, extraordinary well styled! Surely at least "Der Bunker" is only another copy of DIE HARD, but it is a very good one. So if anyone outside Germany has the possibility to watch this excellent action stuff - go and watch it, what do I say, buy it! Don't miss it, especially if you like movies like THE ROCK.

"The Rock" "Con Air" "Enemy of the state") with nonstop action. Surely this movie is only another copy of DIE HARD, but it is a very good one. So if anyone outside Germany is able to watch this excellent action movie, go and watch it. Don't miss it, especially if you like movies like THE ROCK.
