painful.

The story is terrible, the acting is awful, there is virtually no action, and the ending makes absolutely no sense. Aside from all of that... no wait... it's still one of the worst movies that i have ever seen. You don't even care about the characters, let alone what happens to them. And why does the "hero" get raped... without getting revenge? Basically I regret ever watching it. I want my 90 minutes back.

It is very excruciatingly long and boring stylistic action sequences.

(1996) Mongkok Story (In Chinese with English subtitles) CRIME DRAMA/ THRILLER/ ART HOUSE

This is yet another Hong Kong artistic film that has action in it, but are flashy flashy artistic with people swinging machetes and platoons etc... similar to films such as "Hero", "Ashes Of Time", "Noblest Way To Die" etc.. The story centers on little brother narrating his well intended 'big brother' working for the triads and his fall as a result of doing some good deeds. Predictable and painful to watch, since they're no hard hitting action one could see from a Donnie Yen or a Jackie Chan film at all, only very extremely excruciatingly long and boring stylistic action sequences.
