Mouse On The Moon

Doc reads in a newspaper that the space program needs mice to send to space. He decides to steal them and sell them to the government. But are the two little rodents too clever for him?

It's a nice little entry in the series produced by Walter Lantz, with a good script and his usual cohort of good voice actors. The artwork is not up to the standards of Woody Woodpecker, but considering his ability to sell this to the declining number of movie theaters who still had a full program of feature movies and selected short subjects, it's more than adequate.
