For The Third Time

For the third time, the folks at Famous Studios look at the work of Isabel Manning Hewson and make a puerile cartoon of it. Once again Isabel and Billy capture the magical fish Red Lantern, and when they let him go, he drowns them. No, he takes them to a part of the Land of the Lost where everything is time pieces. And we get to witness the story of a doctor's watch that wants to go on the stage.

Clearly the folks at Famous Studios really liked these stories, perhaps the setting. They put in a lot of effort in making this as visually sumptuous as they could. Unfortunately, it's tripe that bored me as a child, and is simply more of the same more than two-thirds of a century later.
