A family drama

"Las Furias" is a formidable family drama. Based on a play by Enrique Suárez de Deza, it seems to be "dramatic" in the sense that actresses act like in a theater scene. All the characters are feminine and demonstrate a great histrionic ability to express their mixed feelings about a man: the pater families. A sample that the Argentine cinema was able to demonstrate that there are no taboo subjects when it comes to representing what is socially hidden under the carpet.
