this show is one of the best and i think now that it has been cancelled we should have this show out on DVD fast and soon. a lot of people might not have the nicktoons channel and i use to though. but anyways now that we see a lot of other shows coming out on DVD we should have season sets for this show also. i would like to say that there is a website out there to vote and please vote for season sets. i know best of and individual are putting some eps and i know this whole world likes every single episode on their favorite shows. but also if you like the shows you do like but not every single episode i know you might like having the best of or individual. but as for me the shows i like i would like and my mind is set on season sets is because i cannot choose what eps i like. even though it is hard but i like every single ep out there on some of the best shows i like. by the way you can also vote for any show you would like. i know i am waiting for full house, boy meets world, 2nd season of spongebob and some other ones out there but yeah vote for any show you like to on there. if you do like thats so raven don't forget to add the comma for example that's so raven instead of thats so raven. i tried to vote when i typed in thats instead of that's. so please vote for kablam season. thanks i know kablam is my 1st show i really enjoy watching. after all all the other ones i voted for will be be 2nd,3rd, etc... number ones.
Any hardcore Nick fan as myself, back in the 90s when the programming was good, would know that Kablam! was the best show on the entire station, topping even the SNL-for-teenagers spin of All That! Kablam featured two animated characters, Henry and June, who hosted a comic book-esquire sketch show featuring regular acts (Life with Loopy, Sniz and Fondue...) with special scripts.
The show was humorous to the extent that even as a teenager I long to see the show again. But, like all good comedic shows, Kablam! went down just as SNL and All That did, grabbing for new plots until they cancelled. It was a significant loss to Nickelodeon, which now airs shows that aren't in the least bit nostalgic. But we will always have our memories, I suppose. As cliché as it sounds.

This is as fun as Liquid TV, better than cartoon sushi, and has a lot of the same animators. Favorites would be Life with Loopy, Sniz and Fondue, and Prometheus and Bob. Check it out on Nickelodeon!!!

"KaBlam!" is one of those shows from one's childhood that makes them realize just how awfully generic and unoriginal today's cartoons are. I was a child of the '90s, and I was fortunate enough to see the boom period of originality happen before my eyes. In my opinion, Nickelodeon hit the jackpot with this cartoon, which was sadly only on for 4 years.
Hosted by crudely-animated cartoon hosts Henry and June, two children, "KaBlam!" was a melting pot of animated freedom. Any and all styles were welcome, and they were showcased to their fullest potential. With its first (and best, in my opinion) four segments"Sniz & Fondue", "Action League Now!", "Life with Loopy" and "Prometheus & Bob"each containing two-dimensional and hilarious characters, the show was a goldmine in advancing animation's boundaries.
I miss this show a lot. I grew up watching it and looking most forward to the "Action League Now!" more than anything else. It's not on TV, and it's also not on DVD, and that's a crime against humanity. When people think of Nicktoons, they think of great shows like "Rocko's Modern Life" and "Doug" before anything else, but "KaBlam!" is a diamond in the rough. It's timeless and hilarious. Even though most of the later cartoons and shorts that replaced the older ones could be boring, Henry and June more than made up for it. Each character evolved as the seasons continued, and that rarely happens in cartoons.
In conclusion, I think "KaBlam!" is one of the most original, funniest and most likable shows ever produced. Not just in the cartoon world, but in general. It makes me wish I had a time machine so I could see these old, great shows again. Nickelodeon needs to get their sh*t together and release this on DVD.

Kablam! was one of the funniest animated shows I've ever seen. Very creative and diverse. A lot of people involved. Great writing and concepts. From "Prometheus and Bob", about an alien trying to show a caveman how to live, to "Sniz and Fondue", great voices and great animation style. Wait! There's "Life with Loopy", a sort of paper cut-out animation, "Action League, NOW", animated dolls often done in by the Evil Mayor which sounded a bit like Ronald Reagan.
I guess some people didn't get it. But my kids and I REALLY miss it! Ernie Kovacs would be proud.
I wonder why a collection of these shows has not been put up for sale (at least I am unaware of any). I think Nickelodeon still airs it at various times, but I never get to see it. Nickelodeon, if you're listening, market the whole series in a DVD. I guarantee brisk sales.
NOW do I have enough lines for a submission?
