Poznan 56

I appreciated "Poznan 56" for the fact that the director, Filip Bajon, decided to present the Poznan 56 events in an anti-martyrological, anti-political way. I personally don't like historical works in which the narrator becomes a party to the dispute, and I prefer a neutral observer. So many years have passed that, personally, I look at these events without emotion and rather just want to learn something and understand something. I liked watching "Poznan 56" and appreciated it from the artisic point of view. I think it was a well-made movie with good acting. Plenty of popular stars were involved in its creation, which is an additional asset of this film. Unfortunately, as a person from a different generation, I knew little about the events in Poznan in 1956, apart from the fact that it was an anti-communist rebellion. So I was mostly interested in the genesis and course of those events. My expectations were a bit different than what was included in the film because I didn't learn enough from it.
