Original and Thought Provoking Comedy

This is one of the most profound and realistic films portraying the Puerto Rican experience in what they thought would be the "promised land". The film manages to keep you laughing while still getting the point across.

Can't Stop Laughing

I still have the images of this comedy in my mind and sit here even now laughing. Where has this film been hiding? What a funny funny comedy!! Every actor was fantastic!! Thank you for taking my mind off of the daily grind and providing a great comedy.

Very Funny Comedy

Very funny comedy. One recommedation I'm glad I watched. Could not stop laughing.

underrated and marvelous low budget film!

This film is one of the funniest I have ever seen! If you like classic

Woody Allen, you will thoroughly enjoy Luis Cabellero's funny, off

the cuff, tongue in cheek, deadpan, brilliant narration as we get to

know him as a "little brown man." This politically incorrect film

knocks every stereotype out there about Latinos (specifically

Puerto Ricans). John Leguizamo is also fabulous in the many

sketches in the movie. (He is billed as Johnny Leggs.)

We all should watch this film in this day and age. It really reminds

us of the crazinees and futility of stereotypes in contemporary

society.
