Umar Qaid became the focus of attention due to a fight scene. Vinod Mehra suggested to Veeru Devgan that he and Sunil Dutt would work out their own action choreography . During the filming of the fight scene, Vinod and Sunil got so involved with the fight, that they locked up and refused to let go. People from the unit had to pull them apart . Sunil Dutt had a huge cut on his hand and Vinod Mehra had a swollen shoulder. But it was all good fun as Sunil and Vinod respected each other .
