It is set in the Sixties in Torrejon de Ardoz , Madrid , where is the important American military base . At a house works two home servants : Concha Velasco and Amparo Soler Leal . Concha has an unemployed boyfriend : Alfredo Landa who doesn't want to marry her . Along the way , the two modest maids are wished by two American hunks from USAF : Álvaro Luna, Charles Stalmaker . When the home owners : Margott Cottens and William Layton celebrate a birthday party things go wrong , as there join the beautiful girls , their boyfriends : Alfredo Landa , Manolo Gómez Bur and the American suitors .
Amusing and entertaining comedy though mediocre , it deals with two maids, his fiances , and some American people , as it shows the class differences , while the servants representating the lower classes , the American ones the upper classes . Concerning ordinary life in the 60s with maids engaged with local boys and their love competence with the boastful and allegedly superior American men , it brings some best scenes of the movie , the likeable confrontation among them with plenty of fights , chaos and destruction at home . The tale being based on a stage play from the prolific playwright Alfonso Paso who also directed a number of films.
