Awesome Brazilian Western

A great Western held in 1930 Northeastern Brazil (sub-genre often called "Nordestern") during Cangaço baditism times. It has all typical traits of Westerns (shootings, arid open areas, rape, vengeance, a lone cowboy...) but it is also very Brazilian and far from being a generic film. Anselmo Duarte was very skilled and presents various interesting scenes, besides keeping the story interesting until the very end. Considering either classic, revisionist or spaghetti Westerns, I consider this Brazilian film one of the best in the genre ever made.
