«Duca?». «Dica!».

Directed by Camillo Mastrocinque is a kind of instant-movie, made on the wave of the success of one of the early TV quiz of the italian television in the likes of Jeopardy. Totò as "the Duke" (an expert of horse races) want to win the money needed to buy the bar where his daughter works (who does not know him as her father btw) while two italoamerican gangsters blackmail him. Pretty thin Plot that focuses mostly on the real TV show with (then famous) presenters Mike Bongiorno and Edy Campagnoli as themselves. At times very funny at times kinda lame seen today works more as an historical insight of the Italian society that in the 50s converged in front of the television screens with wonder. Very good supporting cast: the dumb Croccolo the grumpy pavese, the sweet Moriconi, the villains Cabot and D'Assunta and two femmes fatales: "malafemmina" Dorian Gray and a very young Schiaffino.
