While I would not recommend this feature film to anyone just trying to enjoy a movie at home (you will not find it being shown in any theater), the same does not hold true for connoisseurs of the industry, specially serious students of the art, as this is an exquisite example of what was at the forefront of Latino-American cinematography is the 1940s. Although the actual technical part of the art was not up to par with that of Hollywood during the same period, it is still above the level of most films released prior to "Gone With The Wind," a film that revolutionized the industry from a technical standpoint just as much as Star Wars did forty years later. A copy of this early masterpiece will be hard to find in any medium.
