These Streets We Haunt

Acting was so..so...but cool story. Very entertaining. Definitely could do with a follow up.

Enjoyed this, nice laid back style, believable until it gets weird. Shame about the very last scene which really doesn't fit at all.

The production seemed rather polished, the writer did not have any visible blunders, the story flows unencumbered but also a bit aimlessly. It was not able to build any tension or dread on account of the lurking and mystical menace, but it did a better job building some mystery on the first half about the girl. I wish Ari Aster would have had a crack at it.

Despite another review I read, this film in no way resembles MORTAL INSTRUMENTS except that extraordinarily gifted individuals fight evil influences! This film was well scripted, directed & produced as well as carried by a talented group of actors! This story made me "forget" I was watching a movie & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Unlike anything I've viewed before this scenario was new (& I've viewed thousands of films). I think considering ALL criteria t his film is underrated & underappreciated! Give it a chance & enjoy!

This was a wonderful story. The only problem that I had was the weak special fx. Other than that, the movie was so good that I would waych again with a friend.
