Stranded

I am guessing that the creators of this mess assumed that making a very low budget film was bound to make them at least a small profit, that could be the only reason ANYONE would this pitiful excuse for a movie.

The dialogue is not even realistic, the bickering and arguments between the siblings are so unnatural that they sound like nasty chatter with no point or meaning. The characters are utterly shallow and bland. It is like listening to a hive of angry bees incessantly buzzing in a hostile way endlessly.

The acting was horrible from EVERY SINGLE cast member, no exception! And the lack of a storyline made the whole enterprise drag on endlessly.

In the end the whole thing was POINTLESS!

I'm all for low budget films but this one was terrible. I will be honest, after 20 minutes I turned it off. The female sibling got on my nerves right from the start. She did the movie no justice. The way the film opened was a good concept but she did not make it easy to watch. I could not relate to any of the characters and decided not to waste my time.

These producers, writers, actors, should take notes from the 2012 movie, Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes. That movie had great acting, great storyline, and kept u on the edge of your seat. For a low budget movie, they did a great job without having a stack of cheese trailing it. This so called movie Stranded is what not to do when making a Sasquatch film.

Characters do nothing but complain and yell at each other. Gave me a headache. Characters have about 3 brain cells between the 4 of them. Please, save yourself a headache and skip watching this. The sasquatch costume is so bad, at one point you can see the person inside of it. He is only on screen for a few minutes. The whole rest of the time is just yelling and complaining. We suffered through the movie and finally had to turn it off when they were horribly fake crying at the end. They definitely could have done a lot better with a lot of the script and closing the actors. Definitely not what we were expecting when we started the movie.

I read a couple of reviews for this stinker before I watched it. I almost decided to not bother but I thought "It can't be that bad, can it"? DANG!!! It suuuuuure can...and then some. An hour and a half of my life that I'll never get back. The "acting" here was soooo bad that it made my stomach roll. The fake arguing was soooo bad that I was embarrassed FOR the horribly bad "actors" doing it. A third grade school play has it all over this junk, garbage, trash. If you see this before you watch it, PLEASE take my advice and avoid this crap like a plague. I had rated it a two, but as I was writing this, I changed it to a one. This was unquestionably the most painful movie experience of my 4 decade life. I try to give smaller budget movies a chance, because you can find some hidden gems there. And who doesn't enjoy a nice creature feature?

But this was complete trash. Every single character was absolutely annoying. If there is any credit I give to the script is that the writers found different ways for each character to be obnoxious. Most annoying fictional character in the history of film goes to Donnie. His screaming wife was terrible. The not so photogenic and bitchy sister terrible. Big brother with abysmal haircut, terrible.

I would have rather spent the same amount of time waiting in a DMV or doctors office than watch this drivel again. Peeyoo.
